Joint Project

For a visit of some friends we needed some egg cups. But we had only two shaby egg cups. So my daugther and I had a plan.
We took some beads and melted the bottom part with a flat iron. The edge of the egg cups are woven. Then we put the two parts together. The egg cups are unique and the guests could take their own egg cup as a little gift.

Cat on Canvas

My daugther has painted this picture for a donation campaign. She called it colorful cat.

Kati is the name of a pattern from farbenmix. After some shirts I wanted to sew some pants. The pattern was practical cause my dauther is a quite thin girl.

I Wish I Were a Witch

Mommy, we have a summer feast and I have to play a witch. Okayyy, so let's sew a costume.

Wrap your Hair

Do you know this kind of towel? You can wrap it around your head. For my little daugther I sewed a smaller version from my own towel wrap. Very useful.

Fish Blouse

My dauther had a wish, a summer blouse, blue and with fishes. Now here it is. The pattern is from burda.

Crochet Pockets & Bracelets

Here you can see some older crocheted pockets und bracelets. Unfortunately I didn’t make pictures of all of them  :o(
For some card decks, mp3 players and mobile phones I had crocheted these tiny little pockets which kept getting better over time.

Here I made a wooden shelf for my daugther. She is mad about elephants so this gift was just perfect for her. And now she has a nice place to present her elephants collection.

Plaster Cake

This is a pretty gift I made for a wedding, a plaster cake. I've taken a bowl and filled it with plaster. Then I put some money into Kinder Surprise capsules. Before the plaster began to harden I let the capsules sink into the bowl. Now I’ve waited one to two days until the plaster was fully hardened.
After that I turned bowl and plunged the cement. I painted the cake with acrylic paint and added some real chocolate sprinkles. For the cream I pressed wet plaster through a pastry bag. After the cement is hardened I painted the cream with white acrylic paint.
