Welcome on Earth

For a little baby girl I had the great honor to sew some little needful things. Take a look.

A pair of leather shoes. Pattern from LinVins. Size 19.

A little pillow, familiar to this.

You can't have enough bibs ;o)

Some pants with adjustable size because of the cuffs. Size 62. Pattern called Frieda.

A cute onesie. Size 62. Pattern from Schnabelina.

A reversable necktie. Pattern from "Krumme Nadel"

A baby cap and the necktie from the other side.

I hope you have a great time.

Chill + Relax = Chillax

Matching to the king size blanket which will soon be finished I sewed a relaxing neck pillow. Take a seat and "chillax".

The chillax writing is made of red fabric stiched onto the pillow with the sewing machine.

Here you can have a closer look.

Whom do you serve?

And again I sewed a shirt. Am I hooked with the pattern made by Schnabelina? Maybe. But this time I made the shirt a little bit "nerdy".

before
It looked boring. So I took a hand of a child that crossed my path, dipped its hand in some white paint and now it is a shirt with a reference to a famos movie/book. Can you guess the reference?

 "Whom do you serve?"
"Saruman"

By the way: The reference is from "The Lord of the Rings".

Workout Clothes

Last year I sewed some workout clothes for a girl. The disired color was blue. At the time I sewed this ensemble I didn't have a serger, so I sewed the clothes with the regular stretch stich of my old sewing machine. It was a horror scenario. I cursed my old machine and was sceaming at it. Now I have a serger AND an all new sewing machine. But at least the workout clothes are worn a lot. Here you can see the shirt that was worn last weekend. And to make it complete I show you the shorts as well.

*Wroom*

And again I sewed a shirt for a little baby boy. I used the pattern JaWePu which is provided by Schnabelina (again). The fabric of the sleeves was an old shirt from myself. The front and back sides of this shirt were made of jersey fabric with cars all over. Suitable for a little boy *Wroom*.

Little Basket

For my beloved husband I sewed a little basket to put some things in. No more questions like: "Darling, were is my wallet (keys, card, sunglasses etc.)?" It reduce some stress in the morning. The free tutorial can be found here.

Jumpsuit for Babys (for free)

Last summer I wanted to sew a jumpsuit for a baby and searched for the right pattern for this project. I found this website and tried out this short jumpsuit. Very easy to sew but the next time I'll try to sew a jumpsuit which can be open at the front side. The baby disliked pulling the jumper over his head.

Snuggle and Explore

For a baby I sewed a snuggle cloth. One side is made from a microfiber towel and the other side is jersey fabric with little cars. On the sides I added some woven ribbons to explore different colors, pictures etc. The star is made of a terry cloth.

Hunter and Prey

My daugther was inviteted to a costume party. She wanted to dress up as a leopard (again), but the costume was too small because it was from the year 2006. At that time I sewed this quick costume. A simple vest, leg warmers, a tail and ears with hairgrips inside.
in the year 2006

I resized the costume and added some new pieces of  fake leopard fabric (sadly you can tell the difference between old and new parts).

The vest is now little longer. I sewed a pair of cuffs and some straps of  fabric onto a skirt. And I sewed a bag that looks like a dead zebra as well. So she can store some money, her cell phone and the ticket to the party.

The dead zebra is a simple cosmetic case. I added a zebra head, legs and a tail.

Fabric Box

I sewed a fabric box to store some knitting stuff. This box is very practical on the road, not too big but enough space for little knit or crochet projects. The pattern is free and provided by Machwerk.
