World Cup Final Cake ;o)

Today I made a cake, but not a simple cake. It's a cake with the colors of the german flag. You have enough time to make the cake for yourself till tomorrow.

You need:
5 eggs
vanilla flavour (I took a real vanilla bean)
vanilla sugar
250 g sugar
375 g flour
1 sachet of baking soda (approx. 20g)
125 ml water
250 ml (sunflower) oil
food coloring
some spoons of cacao
 a jar of jam

Step One: separate the eggs,  mix the egg yolks with the sugar until it has a light yellow creamy color, beat the egg white until it stiff

Step Two: Stir the water, oil, vanilla sugar and flavour, the flour and the baking soda into the sugar egg yolks mixture then gently fold the beaten egg white in.
Now separate the dough in three bowls. In the first bowl you put the cacao, in the second the red food coloring and into the last bowl you put the yellow food coloring.

Step Three: Take a baking tin and bake every color separatly on 200° C / 392°F with top/bottom heat for 20 minutes each.
Let the three cakes cool down. In the meantime put the jam into a bowl and stir powerfully, so the jam will become smooth. Take your first color (yellow in my case) cover it with jam and put the red cake on it. Again cover it with jam. At last put the black (cacao) cake on top of the others.

Step Four: Fill the gaps between the layers with jam to get a better optical surface.

Step Five: Cover the whole cake with sugarcoating or chocolate. I took sugarcoating...

Step Six: Cut the cake and enjoy.
